HIS WAY TO A NEW LIFE
Helping us to find the Way
Spiritually Mentally Physically
His Way Ministry addresses the spiritual, physical, and mental needs of ex-offenders. The difficulty facing many ex-offenders is well documented. Many have trouble finding jobs, housing, and basic survival resources. Many have problems compounding the adjustment challenge: Substance abuse, illiteracy, lack of social & employment skills, etc.
The church must arise and become more involved in post-prison ministry. We believe that this will be accomplished through the commitment, support, and hard work of those called to answer the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in their environments. Most inmates will eventually get out. We must be ready to share the love of Christ with them. His Way is an interdenominational ministry of Baptists, Catholics, Episcopalians, Methodists, Pentecostal, Presbyterians, and others as well as nondenominational. We share the love of Christ and want to share that love with others. His Way is CROSS cultural: blacks & whites, professionals and laborers, ex-offenders and servants, men and women. Our volunteers consist of former inmates and those who have never been incarcerated. The leadership is of this same diversity. God has created a kingdom minded ministry at His Way through no particular planning of its founders.
Christ is counting on you and me.
